A Stage Right student will:

• Develop his/her skills in drama, voice and dance through age-appropriate Broadway material.
  

• Increase his/her self-confidence and self esteem in a safe, risk-taking environment.
  

• Build his/her confidence and sense of pride as he/she works with a team of peers preparing for the end of semester production.
  

• Foster his/her independence, creativity, and responsibility as he/she develops his/her character, meets deadlines, and rehearses material.

Noreen Clarke, Artistic Director

Noreen Clarke is an award-winning educator in the Ridgewood Public School system where she has taught for over 12 years.  She has directed and choreographed over 75 productions for children ages 6-18 years of age.  Her students have gone on to win scholarships in the arts, and are currently performing on Broadway and in film and television.. 

Noreen also spent 4 years representing the Channel One News Network developing news programs which were viewed by teens in schools throughout the United States.  

Lisa Callahan, Producer & Prep Instructor (Saturday Workshop)

Lisa graduated from Ridgewood High School and earned

a Bachelor's Degree from Drew University.  She moved back to Ridgewood to raise her four daughters, while working at Bell Atlantic for 11 years.  Lisa has spent the  past seven years

working "Behind the Scenes" in a variety of roles.  Besides working on sets, make-up, etc. most recently, Lisa was the Co-Producer for Somerville Children's Theater.  After many years backstage and in the audience, Lisa made her onstage 'debut' last spring working the plant, Audrey II, in "Little Shop of Horrors!"
